The common brick concrete wall (120mm) and double-layer gypsum board light partition generally have a weighted sound insulation capacity of 40dB. Why not use it as an industrial noise reduction wall?
Firstly, industrial noise itself has the characteristics of continuous generation and high sound pressure level; Second, when the sound insulation structures such as brick concrete wall and light partition wall based on the principle of "increasing mass" and "mass spring mass" constitute a narrow sound insulation room or enclosure, the internal space will form a reverberation sound field due to the reflection of sound waves between the walls, and even produce standing waves, which will greatly enhance the noise.
